Directly translated from Japanese, ShinRyoku means new green and describes the new leaves on plants as they grow, especially in Spring. For us ShrinRyoku represents the excitement when our plants get bigger or new plant babies join the family.
Throughout our plant raising journey we’ve found that plants are not only beautiful to look at, but also that the process of looking after them has a healing, almost meditative quality.
If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m from Japan and now living in Singapore. Our goal is to share a love of plants with others so thank you for visiting.
